I live an work not far from the Anchor, and I can thoroughly recommend it for a meal out, or riverside drink. They keep the Adnams very well, which is a good start, and a good range of other beers. What I particularly like is their vision of sourcing lots of local produce, for example they have their own smokehouse. Working nearby, we will often move our meetings etc to the pub on a sunny day to soak up the ambiance, have one of their excellent huffers, or the always reliable and very tasty bangers and mash!
