We haven't been to the Barn for quite some time and took some friends who were staying for the weekend. To be fair, the food was nicely cooked but we found the menu to be very limited - particularly main courses. 2 different types of steak, sausage & mash, burgers etc. do not really constitute an exciting a la carte menu. Plus the service was pretty poor - we didn't bother with dessert in the end as it was so late! Such a shame, a beautiful setting, but I think you are paying for it!
