Colchester

Crispin's was built around 1475 and has oak beams and an open fire in the lounge for cold winter nights. The restaurant is candlelit and you can enjoy our outstanding international cuisine in a romantic setting. We are in the pretty village of Messing, near Colchester, just a few miles from the A12. We also serve Spanish tapas on Wednesday to Friday, as well as our a la carte menu.

If you wish to stay we have en-suite B&B rooms with four-poster bed for £57.50 per couple, including full English breakfast. We are a good base for touring the area, being just half-an-hour from Constable country in north Essex and Suffolk, 20 minutes from Maldon, and 15 minutes from Colchester.
